248 CIMA VIOLA

Variety of elongated, bright blackish-purple cylindrical aubergine with a slightly pointed head. White compact pulp with few seeds. Tall, vigorous and erect plant with good covering foliage. Abundant harvest and long cropping season. Suitable both for fresh produce market and for industrial processing , it is ideal for open field cultivation. SOWING: best  sown in late spring for execellent crops of good quality fruitsthat can be harvested at the beginning of autumn.

246 BELLEZZA NERA

Medium-early cycle variety. Oval round fruit, smooth, glossy black colour. Strong plant, erect with plenty of healthy leaves, full covering, high yield. Transports and handles well, besides being suitable for industrial processing. Suitable for greenhouse and open-field cultivation. SOWING: in winter under tunnels and in March – April in open field.

Long, cylindrical fruit with dark violet colour true intense. Firm flesh with very few seeds. A robust plant that is  very resistant to the heat. Excellent and prolonged production. It is very much in demand in the market due to the fact that it is easy to peel and ha san excellent flavour. SOWING:  this variety is suitable for cultivating outdoors in spring-summer.

250 VIOLETTA DI FIRENZE

A medium-early variety that produces egg-shaped, ribbed fruits that are large and heavy. They are a shiny violet colour on a light base and pulp is firm with very few seeds. Keeps extremely well alter harvesting and is very resistant to long journeys. It can be grown either in a greenhouse or directly outdoors. SOWING: we recommend sowing in late spring , from March to June, for the best results. Trasplant about 40 days after sowing leaving 50 cm between plants.

       DI ROSA sel. ROMANESCA

Produces round-oval fruit that is flattened at the tip and deeply grooved. Violet with blue and white tinges near the stalk. Compact  flesh  with few seeds. Resistant to transportation and particularly suitable for industrial processing. A vigorous and erect plant with well covering foliage. Suitable for growing either in a nursery or directly outdoors. SOWING: from November to April for harvesting in summer-autumn.
